The OEM charge path is built around a small, restrictive pipe and plastic components that can melt, deform, or develop boost leaks under extreme conditions. APR’s Charge Pipe System was built to perform, replacing the factory components with larger 60mm aluminum piping and a reinforced, multi-ply turbocharger outlet hose. This creates a stronger and less restrictive airflow path from the OEM turbocharger to the throttle body. Thin-wall aluminum construction maximizes the internal diameter without compromising strength, while bead-rolled pipe ends prevent hose slippage under boost. TIG-welded brackets and a billet-aluminum MAP sensor bung ensure precise, factory-style fitment. Finished in black, the system installs directly with the OEM turbocharger and APR or OEM intercooler and throttle body hoses. APR recommends upgrading both the intercooler and throttle body hoses/pipes for maximum performance and reliability.
