APR is issuing a voluntary service replacement on the CI100047 B9 S4/S5 3.0T PEX Intake System.

A material defect was reported by customers in the field, and after further testing, APR has determined this to be an issue that will likely affect more intake systems. Customers should stop using this part. The APR support team is in the process of contacting all known customers, but customers should contact APR if they have not received a call by Thursday, July 27th, 2023. APR will be upgrading each system to utilize our upgraded carbon fiber inlet pipe. Alternatively, customers can get a discount on our full carbon fiber system.

What’s happening?

We have issued a stop sale and voluntary service replacement for the CI100047 because the turbo inlet pipe can crack near the turbo inlet.

What is APR doing?

We are replacing the PEX inlet pipe with the upgraded carbon fiber inlet pipe.

What has APR done for customers with failures?

We have fully taken care and will take care of everyone in the field with this issue. All turbo inlet pipes will be replaced.
