The Marketing Services Coordinator for Holley’s Powerteq group will be responsible for ensuring the timely prioritization, delivery, and execution of all Powerteq marketing programs and event initiatives. The Services Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Marketing at Holley and work in tandem with Graphic Artists and Brand/Product Managers at Powerteq to create, package, and distribute content, leverage promotions, and ensure day-to-day marketing operations run at an optimal level. This individual must operate with full attention to detail, be deadline-driven, and exceptionally organized. The position offers a challenging environment to coordinate multiple projects while ensuring both internal and external stakeholders are consistently provided with the information and collateral they need in the field. The Marketing Services Coordinator will be the primary point person for arranging event logistics, apparel, and serve as a direct liaison between Powerteq and third-party service providers associated with teams, venues, and event-related contracts/agreements.


Job Description:


  • Be aware of the 4 “P’s” of Marketing and apply those to all events and content generated/distributed
  • Schedule and plan for events, staff logistics, and product displays
  • Develop meaningful content in the form of press releases, online news stories, and co-branded announcements with channel partners to promote events, sell apparel, etc.
  • Manage and stay within an assigned budget for all projects
  • Conduct market research using various methods (online data, customer feedback, WD/jobber feedback, trade publications, and etc.) on current and prospective categories to develop and execute a go-to-market strategy within the constraints of the budget
  • Work with Director of Marketing to develop monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing services schedules
  • Work proactively to schedule and execute services tasks related to promotions, online sales, special programs, and staff travel
  • Manage Powerteq’s event marketing trailer – schedule, upkeep, inventory, and staffing
  • Take ownership of both Powerteq event related content via web, e-blasts, and social media
  • Work with Director of Marketing to recommend promotions and execute special programs
  • Work collaboratively with Category Managers to assign ad campaigns by category and work with services team members to execute and implement the plan from start to finish
  • Ensure the best sponsorships and events are being utilized that fit within the assigned budget for the categories
  • Travel to events and tradeshows
  • Build quarterly reports to clearly articulate measurable goals, results, and strategy to address shortfalls, areas for growth, and holes to fill within the marketing services department


Qualifications:


  • Energetic self-starter with very little day-to-day management required
  • BS in Marketing, Business, or equivalent
  • Experience in a marketing setting
  • Experience with event planning – hospitality, conference, tradeshow, and experiential
  • Proficient with MS office with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to present and articulate to senior management
  • Multi-tasker
  • Travel to out of state events that can last as long as a week
  • Set and track performance goals and be accountable for those goals
  • Implement unique marketing concepts that will ensure Powerteq products are front and center in the appropriate segments to deliver a measurable lift in market share and profits
