The VWR Adjustable Swaybars will significantly stiffen the cornering response characteristics of your vehicle without compromising ride comfort. These upgraded bars are a perfect complement to the wide range of VWR Suspension Upgrades.
VWR began development of several sway bar systems through their racing efforts in the UK Volkswagen Racing Cup and created a bar that's perfect for both daily driven vehicles as well as a full on race cars. Research and Development lasted several years with race, track and street testing until VWR's data indicated they arrived at the perfect settings. By offering three stiffness settings, which equate to street (soft), aggressive street (medium) vs track (full stiff), the bars can be tailored to individual needs.
The bars stiffen cornering response characteristics significantly by reducing body roll however ride quality and comfort is not altered in comparison to running stiffer springs. By stiffening the vehicles chassis under cornering loads, cornering speeds will improve and understeer will be reduced. They're a perfect solution for anyone looking for race proven technology for use on the street or track.
Adjustment
The bars are sold as a front or rear bar only, but VWR recommends fitting both to ensure front and rear end handling stays consistent. All VWR Swaybars are powder-coated gloss VWR Blue with Volkswagen Racing Logos etched in. Each bar features 3 adjustment (soft/medium/stiff) and are of a hollow design. The bars are fully compatible with VW/Audi ACC dampers and are available for both front wheel drive and all wheel drive vehicles.

Each bar includes Teflon lined polyurethane bushings and lubrication.
