APR's FMIC needs at least 13" of vertical clearance to be installed properly. This is illustrated in the image to the left. The Passat will require a different lower valance but will not have any modifications made to the bumper itself. The FMIC for the Golf and Jetta cars will require a modified bumper cover and a deeper lower valence such as the one from the 337. It will also require a modified bumper support which is supplied by APR.
