At this time the APR ECU Upgrade is offered as a single program only. Customers may choose APR software specific to their local fuel grades. North American customers may also return to an APR dealer at any time to reflash back to Stock or any other available octane. You are free to choose between any stock or performance mode without purchasing the software again. However, select dealers may choose to charge labor fees at their discretion.
North American customers purchasing the APR ECU upgrade will be entitled to a fully loaded ECU when it becomes available at no additonal charge.
APR's ECU Upgrade is able to be installed by APR's professional dealer network or by APR directly. Some applications are available to be installed via DirectPort programming without removing your ECU or even opening the hood. Some ECUs must be removed from the vehicle for DirectPort Programming. DirectPort Programming is not available for all late 1990 / early 2000 models and in these rare cases EMCS Modules are able to be soldered to the ECU. In the event there is not an APR dealer near, you also have the option to remove your ECU and send it to APR Headquarters for installation.
DirectPort Programming is another industry first brought to you by APR. DirectPort Programming is also referred to as "flashing" the ECU with the new operating software contained in APR's ECU Upgrade. No more soldering additional hardware to expensive and delicate factory electronics. DirectPort Programming facilitates ease of installation and offers new features to give you even more flexibility with your OEM ECU. DirectPort Programming is only available by bringing your car to an APR dealer or by mailing your ECU to APR directly.

APR provides two easy and painless methods to purchase your ECU Upgrade. You may visit any APR Dealer for local installation while you wait or you can remove your ECU and send it directly to APR Headquarters for installation. Car feels transformed with much quicker throttle response and the additional low end (~3k rpm) torque is a huge boon in city driving. Can't wait to get it on the track. - gazza1 - It is APR day as I just had mine installed today as well on 98 octane. Quick brief is car NOTICEABLY quicker and pulls hard..hardcore is best word for now! Feels harder pull than my Cobb/mid pipe R35 GTR. Can start to feel real g force on the chest now. In second gear accelerating hard in a straight line the tyres now really squirm and the traction control works overtime. Best bang for buck out there...Worth every cent.
