APR Motorsport Scores Top Ten at Trois-Rivieres

August, 19, 2008 – Opelika, AL: APR Motorsport/Team Janica Racing #181 Volkswagen GTI raced to a seventh place finish at the Grand Prix of Trois- Rivieres this past weekend, running at the front and contending for the podium the entire race.

The Pobst/White GTI ran as high as third place, while never dropping below position ten other than during a single pit stop during the shorter than normal 1 3/4 hour KONI Challenge ST race.

APR Motorsport Brings The “Queen of the Ring”, Sabine Schmitz, to KONI Challenge

Opelika, AL – APR Motorsport is very proud to announce the signing of Sabine Schmitz, the winningest female endurance racer in the world, as a team driver. Sabine will join the team for her first of two initial races at Iowa Motor Speedway this coming weekend, co-driving the #181 APR Motorsport/Team Janica Racing VW GTI with Mark White. Sabine will be filling in for Randy Pobst, who has a conflicting race in the Speed GT Series, in which he is currently the points leader and is actively defending his 2007 Championship.
