APR’s ECU upgrades are one of the best horsepower-per-dollar modifications for the new 1.8T engine. The APR Stage I ECU Upgrade is designed to work without requiring other changes to the vehicle’s hardware. With the ECU Upgrade alone, APR’s Calibration Experts measured higher peak figures of 288 ft-lbs of torque and 243 horsepower with 98 RON fuel. Large gains were seen throughout the power band, including an additional 70 ft-lbs of torque and 66 horsepower over the 177 PS model, and even higher figures over the lower output 140 PS models.

As we near the official release of our new 500HP+ EFR Turbocharger System for the MK7 GTI, Golf R, A3, S3 and more, a select group of talented APR dealers from across the world have already begun beta testing the system in the wild. Our Engineers are paying close attention to feedback from multiple vehicles with various configurations in several different climates and environmental conditions all in an effort to tweak the system to perfection. With the holidays upon us, the dealers will be racking up the miles through both fun and travel, while we prepare to begin shipping systems in early 2016. The APR Carbon Fiber Turbo Inlet Pipe replaces the rear factory plastic accordion tube with an attractive carbon fiber inlet, complementing the APR Intake System’s aesthetically pleasing design. The intake and inlet hose are joined via a necessary flex coupler to allow for adequate engine movement under use without damaging the intake. The turbo inlet pipe is completely compatible with all factory turbochargers and APR’s Stage III Turbocharger System. Read More

The factory coolant hose is designed to be routed over the top of the APR intake system. However, when routed underneath the intake, it’s far more aesthetically appealing. The APR coolant hose replaces the factory unit and routes cleanly under the intake and around the APR catch can without kinking or adding extra stress to the mounting points. Read More

The APR Rear Wiper Delete is used to fill the hole when removing the rear wiper. It installs cleanly and flush with the rear window and creates a leak free seal with the included RTV silicone. It’s made from CNC-machined billet-aluminum and is anodized matte black for an attractive finish. Read More…
