Performance is usually about compromise. It seems the faster we
go the less refined our vehicles become. Added power usually comes
at the expense of some drivability. Stock parts are replaced with
aftermarket components that seldom meet OE specifications and usually
detract from the cars stock appearance and value. We have made every
effort to use the absolute finest components for our Stage III System
without detracting from the overall stock aesthetic.
It has been argued that some of our components are overkill for
today's cars, but we prefer that reputation to one of questionable
reliability. We design products that are to be used outside the
limits and constraints of average production pieces. We do not accept
excuses from others, or from ourselves. Our philosophy is simple;
accept nothing but perfection from our products and ourselves. This
philosophy is time consuming and very expensive and is proven in
the caliber of product we have released with Stage III. Our engineering
team has scrutinized every detail of the system. From the material
of a bolt to the automatic ratcheting washers, every piece of hardware
is the absolute best for the application.
Our goal with Stage III is to provide our customers with a powerful
but usable turbo application that will behave as well as the factory
unit and not adversely affect longevity. Some companies with lesser
abilities have resorted to larger turbos to make similar power.
These old style turbos are far less efficient and have considerable
turbo lag resulting in an excessive decrease of low and mid range
performance. They can only produce good power levels at the high
end of the RPM band.
The Stage III System could have been released sooner but our level
of commitment requires us to do thorough testing. We have logged
thousands of miles on test vehicles and hundreds of dyno sessions
to ensure that the kit is ready for our customers. This abuse of
our cars equates to proven performance and reliability for even
the most aggressive Stage III consumer.
A system of such refinement has never before been so accessible
to so many. The Stage III system has bridged the gap between performance
and refinement. It is with this promise that we introduce the APR
Stage III system.
