The UUC shortshifter shortens the throw of the factory shifter and reduces the wobble that is felt in the factory shifter. The shortshifter reduces shifter throws by 20% on all A4s. On S4 and A6 2.7T models, the throw reduction is adjustable between 20, 30 or 40%.

* - To determine which shifter is needed for the S4/A6 2.7T, you will need to do the following:

1 - Remove the shift knob but turning the factory knob counter-clockwise.

2 - Lift the console that surrounds the shift boot. This is held in by clips that will release when you pull up on it.

3 - Measure the distance from the black rubber ring to the top of the shift lever. Determine which shifter you need by the following:

3.6" = SH100003
4.5" = SH100004
